I have made several blog posts, thus far, but none of which is an introduction to who I am & why I started my blog, Bless this Bump. So here we go.
My name is Sheena. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 13 ½ years. We have 3 handsome, sweet, & hyper boys, ranging in age from 12 to 2. I was blessed to be a stay-at-home mom with our first child until he was 3 years old. But then, I had to return to the work. Two more boys and lots of changes later, I am able to be a stay-at-home mom, again, for just over a year so far. I loved working, but I love being home with my boys more. I am currently home schooling our 2 school age boys. I try to squeeze in some pre-k 2 learning for our littlest one whenever I can. Sometimes that is 3 days a week, sometimes none.
I finally graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with a Concentration in Management, in December 2019. I took college classes off & on since I graduated High School in 2001. In 2014, I decided that I was going to finish my degree, no matter how long it took. So, I worked full time and went to college full time, while taking care of our family. I took night classes and as many online classes as I could. I had great support from my husband and other family members who helped keep our boys when I had a class and my hubby was still working. I am very thankful and grateful for all of them. My boys were sometimes my study buddies. 😊
I started Bless this Bump to share my experiences and stories through pregnancies & breastfeeding. I also wanted to share helpful tips and other information about pregnancy and breastfeeding. My ultimate goal, is that, along with my blog, that I can open a boutique for maternity and breastfeeding apparel in my local small town. Bless this Bump also offers maternity & pregnancy graphic tees that I have designed. They are soft, comfy, and one-of-a kind designs. I also have a few affiliate links. I have researched each of the companies before choosing the ones I partnered up with. They are popular brands & have great products. I do not promote what I cannot stand behind! An affiliate program is where I get a special link from the company & each time someone shops them using my affiliate link, I get a small commission. This does not cost you anything extra. The prices are not marked up extra to cover this or anything like that. Between all of this, I am hoping that this can be the way I can spend more time with my kids and still help my family financially. I do have a Bless this Bump Facebook page & Pinterest. I try to post at least 1 blog post a week. I am trying to make that about 3 to 4 per week as I am learning how to grow my audience. I also try to do a monthly Newsletter. I always welcome feedback, rather it be positive comments or positive criticism.
